Why We Run, Walk and Roll
This year’s special fundraiser is meant to raise funds and awareness for New Horizons’ life-changing programs. We are running, walking and rolling to celebrate the abilities of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and to advance their inclusion in the community.
Become a Fundraiser!
FUNdraise by collecting donations from everyone you know. Set a goal and don’t stop until you reach it! All money raised benefits the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that New Horizons supports.
Sponsor the Event!
We’re currently accepting sponsors for the event. Your partnership makes an impact for those we serve in our community.
This year at our run/walk and roll we are collecting slightly worn, used and new shoes as part of our funds2orgs shoe drive. Our goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes to help those in need and put some extra funds towards New Horizons’ programs. So clean out your closets and empty your shoe racks. Bring them to the walk, and lets fill up our shoe bin!
The Los Angeles Animal Services will have a pet adoption booth at the event, while Pet Smart will be on hand with treats and other goodies for the dogs.
