Used Book Sale to benefit the Friends of the Mid-Valley Regional Branch Library
All trade and hardcover FICTION books will be 25 cents. We have a large selection of cookbooks; also there will be textbooks, reference books, many classics, and numerous teen and children’s books. There will be many “vintage” books as well (individually priced). Saturday we will also feature DVD’s, CD’s., audio books, VHS tapes, cassette tapes(10 cents each), and some vinyl records.

    Season’s Greetings Mid-Valley Library Friends:

       Barring any unforeseen events, we will be having our regular book sale in the library meeting room and atrium on Friday, January 13th and Saturday, January 14th. The Friday “pre-sale” will be, as usual, for members only. Just show your membership card at the northerly meeting room door – facing Nordhoff Street.
    ( New membership can be obtained at the door prior to the start of the sale. Simple, one-page form; $5.00 per year. Annual renewal payments will also be accepted at the door.)
    IMPORTANT NOTE:  The Friday sale will begin at the newly established time, 1:00 P.M., and cash boxes will close promptly at 4:00 P.M. Plan on having your books tallied up and paid for by 4:00. NO EXCEPTIONS.
     Saturday’s sale, open to the general public, will be the normal  time: 9:30 A.M.(or a bit later) to 2:00 P.M.
      VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:                                         
      Mass market paperbacks will be 5 for $1.00 
      All trade and hardback fiction will be 25 cents               
    [in the foyer:10-cent paperbacks or buck-a-bag (Saturday only)]; as always a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books. All trade nonfiction paperbacks – 50 cents. We will feature lots of cookbooks; also text books, reference books, many classics, and numerous teen and children’s books. There will be many “vintage” books as well, individually priced.

     community at large.
