During our meetings, sometimes someone will mention that they have an old computer, maybe even one still running XP. When there are legacy programs which are meaningful, they don’t want to lose them. Reminders are repeated that XP is no longer updated nor supported which means it can be risky to use them for Internet purposes. Stew Bottorf will answer that question and give us some of his ideas on this topic. What he has to say may be helpful if you are still using that old computer. If you have one “on the shelf,” not quite ready to toss out, it may give you ideas about reviving it.
