Our topic is the war on Proposition 13 that is coming to the ballot next year. Lawmakers in Sacramento are seeking to make it easier to raise taxes and harder to do anything about it. But taxpayers are fighting back. I’ll give you the inside story about the legislature’s shocking attack on Prop. 13 with the passage of ACA 1 and ACA 13, and we’ll talk about the Taxpayer Protection and Government Accountability Act, already qualified for the November 2024 ballot, as well as the Repeal the Death Tax initiative. Find out how the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is planning to restore the right of all parents to pass family property to their kids without reassessment and a huge tax increase.
