You’re cordially invited to the next Valley VOTE meeting on Monday, February 20, at 7:00 p.m. at Galpin Ford, in the meeting room above the Mustang showroom. The address is 15505 Roscoe Blvd., North Hills; just east of the 405 freeway, in the building located at the northeast corner of Roscoe Blvd. and Orion Ave.
I’ll have a special presentation about the latest City of L.A. efforts to address the problem of homelessness, including the mayor’s “Inside Safe” plan, the new directive to use surplus city properties for housing, and the measure that will be on your March 2024 ballot that would require hotels to shelter homeless guests in any rooms that are vacant on any given night.
Plus, we’ll have the latest update on the 8-story “affordable” and “permanent supportive” apartment building planned for Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills, and how the COVID pandemic became the means to override local control of planning. We hope you can make it to this important Valley VOTE meeting, in-person at Galpin Ford.  You can RSVP by clicking here.
Thanks! Hope to see you at Galpin on Monday, February 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Best regards,
Susan Shelley
