7:40 pm    Deputy Fire Chief Daryl Arbuthnott          
Deputy Chief Arbuthnott is a native Angelino and a 35 year Veteran of the L.A. Fire Department.  He has served in numerous positions including Assistant Bureau Commander of the Emergency Services Bureau when he managed the day to day operations of 106 fire stations and 2900 fire personal. He has served as both the North and South Division Commander command and control over 470 square miles of the Los Angeles area.  He is about to retire.  His report will update us on service improvements the San Fernando Valley since his last visit in January 2015.
8:10 pm   David De Voss  “Neighborhood Integrity Initiative    
Everyone complains about traffic.  Some people would like to do something about it and are proposing a ballot measure to limit permitted rezoning and variance approvals.  This is expected to become an explosive ballot measure topic in the near future.  Mr. De Voss has an extensive background as an international reporter of current events.  He is a Valley VOTE Executive Board member who will be providing information about this topic.

Valley Vote has added a public comment period at the end of the meeting to give members and guests an opportunity to briefly voice their opinions and concerns in brief two-minute presentations.
