Pre-registration is required as the class fills up early. Snacks, coffee, and water are provided. You are welcome to bring your own lunch. A list of local eateries will be provided to attendees during class. Class is FREE for Red Cross employees and volunteers ($55 otherwise). There is a cash-only $15 exam fee that will be collected on Saturday, January12, prior to taking the FCC license exam. NO Morse code is required. The exam is multiple choice, consisting of 35 questions, and you can miss 9 and still pass.

Prior study is highly recommended. There are many web resources available, and most have practice tests you can take. An excellent book is Gordon West’s Technician Class Book (be sure you get the 2018-2022 edition as the pool questions have changed).

You must attend both classes.
