Hello Everyone,
Please mark Saturday July 18th your calendar for our next Lake Balboa Public Safety meeting – one you don’t want to miss. . .The topic: SAVING A LIFE -because an emergency can occur ANYTIME.
If a family member, friend, or child in your care had a cardiac or first aid emergency in your care, could you recognize the signs and respond quickly and appropriately? Less than 1/3 of sudden cardiac arrest victims are administered immediate CPR from bystanders. About 92% of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital, but stats prove that if more people know CPR, more lives could be saved. .You can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival if you act within the first 4 to 6 minutes.
My special guest speaker will be Ryan Stevens, Training Manager at Health Care Training Solutions – providers of emergency education and training for individuals, families and organizations. Ryan will explain and demonstrate the latest life saving techniques, including CPR for Adults, CPR for Children, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Choking. Learn about the signs and symptoms of Heart Attack and Stroke. Get information about individual and specialized training for you, your family or business organization.
So please mark the date, July 18th. Meeting will be held at the Flyaway Bus Terminal, 7610 Woodley Ave (NE corner of Saticoy & Woodley), 2nd Fl community meeting room. Meeting starts at 10am. Free parking in front of the building (in spaces along Woodley Ave). Free refreshments.
