LADWP Notice of Public Documents, Comment Period and Public Meeting The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is proposing a water treatment project alternative to remove contamination from wells in the San Fernando Valley groundwater basin, North Hollywood West Well Field, affected by a contaminant known as 1,4-dioxane. LADWP has prepared a Public Notice of a Proposed Plan, Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study and related documents for an interim remedial action for the North Hollywood West Well Field project, prepared pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA). LADWP also has prepared a Notice of Intent to Adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration of the project prepared under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Public Meeting Sign Language interpreters, Assistive Listening Devices, or other auxiliary aids and/ or services may be provided upon request. To ensure availability, you are advised to make your request at least 72 hours prior to the meeting you wish to attend.
