  September 14th, 2017 at 7:00P.M.

My next neighborhood watch, basic car meeting will be held Thursday, September 14th, 2017, 7:00P.M.,                  at The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 17037 Plummer Street in Northridge.                                           Please join me for a detailed crime update for the Devonshire Area.

RECENT AUTO RELATED CRIMES:

This past week (August 20th to 26th), Devonshire Area experienced a noticeable increase in auto theft related crimes. Most vehicles that have been broken into recently have been left unlocked and the times have been from the hours of midnight to 600am in the morning.  If you park your car in the driveway, lock it.                                     If you are going into a business for just a minute, lock it.  If you think you locked it, check again and lock it.             I cannot stress it enough.  Some criminals go down the street checking vehicle doors                                               until they find the one that is unlocked.  Please protect your property and do not become a victim.                         Lock your vehicle!

A motor vehicle is stolen every 46 seconds in the United States.
The top 10 stolen vehicles:
1. Honda Accord
2. Honda Civic
3. Toyota Camry
4. General Motors Silverado
5. Ford F150
6. Ford Econoline van
7. Ford 250
8. Nissan Altima
9. Toyota Corolla
10. General Motors GMT-400
