The Flyaway Bus Terminal – Community Meeting Room,

Park free in the outdoor lot spots facing facing Woodley Ave

Hi, Everybody:  It’s Holiday time again, and most of us have much to be thankful for as we come to the end of another year.  And though our little corner of the world is plagued with fires at the moment that have brought about the loss of life, homes, businesses and prized possessions, we thank the powers that be that most of us have remained relatively untouched.

Now it’s time to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a bit of fun with friends and family!  We hope you’ll begin your frivolity with us, this Saturday, December 9th, 9:00 to 11:00 AM at our LBNC EP Committee Meeting and Holiday Party at The Flyaway Bus Terminal in the Community Room, 2nd Floor, at 7610 Woodley Avenue (NE Corner of Saticoy and Woodley).  GO INSIDE THE BUILDING AND TAKE THE ELEVATOR at the north end of the building, or climb the steps outside.  Plenty of FREE PARKING in the short-term lot out front in the spaces closest to Woodley Avenue.

JEFF EDELSTEIN OF SOS SURVIVAL PRODUCTS will come visit with ideas for Holiday Gifts for all the folks on your shopping list, including some new items you may not have seen or heard about yet.  We’ll have some games, prizes and fun!  See the attached agenda so you’ll be prepared!

And please don’t forget contributions for OPERATION BLANKETS OF LOVE for animals in Shelters, including clean/new blankets and towels, collars and leashes, food and treats, stainless steel food bowls, crates, igloos, and carriers, litter, flea meds and other dog and cat related items.  It’s chilly in the evenings now, and SHELTERS HAVE NO BUDGET FOR ANY COMFORT ITEMS!!!  Please be generous…

We hope you’ll all have the best holiday ever, and that you get to spend it with those you love.  Make it a safe, healthy and happy one, and we look forward to seeing you on February 10th.  (NO MEETING IN JANUARY!)
