Lawn Mower Exchange Program

Residents can purchase a battery-electric lawn mower for a heavily discounted price by trading in their used, highly polluting gas-powered lawn mowers. This year’s program offers over 3,000 lawn mowers for purchase with trade-in. Residents have the opportunity to register and save 70% off of one of seven Black+Decker, Ego and Greenstation battery-electric models ranging from $100 to $250. Exchanging a mower is easy and convenient, participants don’t even have to leave their vehicle. Their old mower will be removed and replaced with the new one upon payment by the staff on hand. Gas-powered mowers must be in working order and only one mower per household can be exchanged. Cash, check or major credit cards are accepted for payment.
