Hi, Everybody:

It’s our last EP Meeting of the year, coming up this Saturday, December 12th, 9:00-11:00 AM, at the Flyaway Bus Terminal, 2nd Floor Community Room, 7610 Woodley Ave.
(NE Corner of Saticoy and Woodley), Lake Balboa, 91406.         Take the elevator INSIDE the building, or the steps outside,       up to the 2nd Floor.
Park FREE out front in the spaces closest to the street.
We’ve saved one of our very best speakers for last this year — Erin Huey, Emergency Medical Responder Instructor (CERT 3), Red Cross Instructor/Train the Trainer Extraodinaire, is going to teach us why the simple Triangular Bandage is one of (if not THE) most important item in your First Aid Kit, and some of the many things that can be done with it!   No need to bring your own — we’ll have plenty available for all     of us to practice with.  A fun and most informative class!!!
We’ll also talk about:
1.  A great EP Holiday Gift idea,
2.  Jenny Lynn Burnett’s book about, and another award for,       our beloved  Lt. Col. Carol Denise Edwards,
3.  Have an EP Bin Update,
4.  Sandy Joseph will tell us about the first Emergency Preparedness Alliance meeting on the forecasted El Nino              rains,
5.  Upcoming Red Cross classes to help meet the requirements  for CERT II,
6.  And sadly, we’ll talk about Active Shooter Situations —           Do You Know What to Do?!?
So much to cover, so little time — so come early to enjoy the commraderie of our EP Buddies as we celebrate the Holiday Season!  See attached Agenda!
