Operations-Valley Bureau, Human Trafficking Task Force
Councilwoman Nury Martinez and Deputy Chief Bob Green cordially invite you to the launch
of the Operations-Valley Bureau Human Trafficking Task Force.
This newly formed task force focuses on prostitution related crimes, arresting pimps, “Johns,” traffickers
and other vice and gang crimes associated with human trafficking.
The task force will work with personnel from various entities throughout the City
to combat the aforementioned criminal element from a variety of angles.
The various problem-solving approaches involve victim services, environmental improvements, court mandated diversion programs,
building meaningful relationships with the community, vigorous prosecution and other evolving concepts.
A new email address has been created
so the community can better communicate with the Human Trafficking Task Force
and receive improved service.
