Councilmembers Mitchell Englander and Bob Blumenfield are holding a town hall conversation on the homelessness problem in the San Fernando Valley. The town hall will feature leaders from the City, County, and relevant agencies, who will address and answer questions on homelessness throughout the City of Los Angeles and the complex challenges the City faces.
Panelists include Peter Lynn, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA); Stephanie Klasky-Gamer, President and CEO of LA Family Housing; Commander Todd Chamberlain, LAPD Homeless Coordinator; Raffy Astvasadoorian, West Valley Neighborhood Prosecutor for the LA City Attorney; Molly Rysman, Housing and Homelessness Deputy for LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl; and Nancy Volpert, Director of Public Policy for the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.
We hope you join us for this extremely informational town hall. We know there are lots of questions and concerns that our community has regarding the homeless issue. Please distribute this flier to all your friends, family, and community members. Hope to see you there.
