Pre-registration is required as the class is limited in size and will fill up quickly. Presented by the Soteria Training Team of Erin Huey and Sandra Hardy and following the guidelines of the National Safety Council (NSC).

During a disaster, when professional fire and medical services are not available, you can be one of the first responders helping in your neighborhood. This National Safety Council (NSA) EMR class will teach you how to perform life-saving skills. It is a great class to get you started learning advanced medical training in First-Aid/CPR/AED, trauma care, and the EMS system in general.

For students who enroll in the EMR class, there is a complimentary (and strongly recommended) FREE American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CPR/AED course that will occur on March 6 (same location), from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Discount of 10% for Scouts and CERT members. Base course fee (includes all supplies, use of training equipment, and expendables, excluding textbook) is just $200 (before discount).

An orientation and Q&A session will be held on Monday, March 4, at class location from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

This course qualifies for the medical portion of LAFD CERT 3 (and CERT 2) designations. For more information, please contact Sandra Hardy(SandraSoteria@gmail.com).
