Please be informed that Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will be hosting Orientation Sessions to introduce the Health Research Study to the community. These are the first of a series of sessions where the community can learn more about the Health Research Study and talk with Public Health staff.
These first two Orientation Sessions will be held at the Lake View Terrace Room at California State University, Northridge. Community members will have the option of attending either:
- Saturday, March 16 from 10am to 2pm
- Tuesday, March 19 from 4pm to 8pm
For those unable to attend, a digital version of the Orientation Session will be available beginning Saturday, March 16 at http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/media/healthResearch/ . Those who attend online will also be able to provide input.
We recognize this is short notice, but want to make you’re your community gets the chance to give feedback as early as possible for the Health Research Study.
I have attached a few different formats of the event notice for the Orientation Sessions, containing relevant information. I have also attached a map. These formats work with most websites, social media platforms and e-Newsletter templates. I’d appreciate it if you could circulate these through your organization’s channels.
If you have any questions, I am happy to set up a time to talk by phone. Our goal is to make sure your community can provide input into the Health Research Study and stay informed.
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you,
Mandi
