The LAPD’s Operations-Valley Bureau is partnering with the Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Councils to host a “State of Public Safety in the Valley” Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, January 29 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Van Nuys City Hall where they will take a look at the past, the present, and future of public safety in the San Fernando Valley. The Daily News recently reported that “crime is down throughout Los Angeles for the 11th straight year, and the numbers show a steep decline in what have long been some of the toughest areas in the San Fernando Valley.
